After Kolding we drove to a camperstop near Odense (actually on an industrial estate next to a caravan dealer!) and then cycled 8 kilometres into town.
Odense is the birth place of Hans Christian Andersen (here he is…..)
And this is the house he was born in (although he fled to Copenhagen after a poverty stricken childhood)
No phoons today, but how about my impression of H C Andersen’s ‘Tin Soldier"
This is ‘Kramboden’, an old world merchant’s house now selling toys and utensils from bygone days
lovely shop window display …...
