About 100 miles ‘down the road’ and we stopped for the night just here by the river near Stabbursnes…...
and in the morning we noticed this picnic table…….
which clearly dates back to 1994…….
you have to admire the determination of the people who carved their initials into the quite hard wood! It must have taken a while. Vandalism? Art? Well it does at least provide a tenuous link to someone who was here 20 years ago……. (wonder who they were or where are they now?)
