We have made very good progress during the last two days and covered more miles than we intended to. As a result we plan to go to Nordkapp either on Monday or Tuesday (it is only 160 odd miles to go). We have met a few people who mentioned that the weather in Nordkapp has not been as good as we have had for the last week so we want to make the most of it. The sun and blue skies returned today and we have been driving with the windows wide open in temperatures of over 20c as we crossed the mountain pass! Yesterday was a little bit of a shock to the system as the morning was around 9c with a fair wind.
We made our last ferry trip in Northern Norway today and are counting our blessings that Wolfy is under 6 metres in length. Vans over 6.01 metres cost at least twice as much and often three times the price! Our total spend for 11 ferry trips was £317. As it happens we have really enjoyed the ferry journeys, they are more like a mini scenic fjord cruise!
I have saved these last three blog entries as drafts and will send them on Monday. If for any reason we can not get on the ‘net while we are in Nordkapp, don’t worry, normal service will be resumed as soon as possible haha….

Oh, nearly forgot. I meant to put up a photo of this cuckoo we saw over a week ago. We have never seen one ‘for real’ so this was a real treat. We hear cuckoos every day, in fact we are convinced it is the same one following us across Norway!
