13 June E63 A little sadness now

Today we have left the Arctic circle and are (just) back in the land of the setting sun.  This leaves us feeling a little sad, it has been so fantastically different having bright sunlight 24 hours a day.  We will truly miss it.
Lappland, which we are driving through right now, is actually fairly dull during the summer months (unless you really really like forests) however in the winter when everything is covered in pure white snow  and bathed in soft blue light (darkness but Arctic style) it is said to be a magical place to be.  Maybe we will get here in winter ???
On the plus side of course, our body clocks and sleep patterns will probably relish ‘darkness’ again!
It is nearly 21:00 on Friday 13th June as I write this draft entry (the others I did earlier today) so I will try to post them tomorrow.  I have ‘topped up’ my 3 mobile phone with a data allowance so hopefully blog updates will appear soon.  If it does not work as planned then you will be reading this post and the ones from 12th June a little later down the line when we are back in Norway (probably Monday or Tuesday).
Tara for now

EDIT:  The tourist office in Arvidsjaur have let me use their wifi, so it's all posted (as you can of course see!)

The sun is out and the sky is blue.............fantastic!
